![]() It's actually amazing, I'm getting better performance than I was with 12.19.x and 12.20.x drivers from AMD with the card overclocked, with or without the software and any combination of settings. Anyway, my games are running better than ever right now and I haven't even overclocked my card yet. So, my best guess is that it's just MSI's way of renaming it instead of the windows 12028 version. The only 11028 I could find was for an r9 card. I can't find any information on exactly which driver from AMD this is. The driver it installed is MSI's version 8.0. Instead, I used device manager to point to the driver folder and install that driver manually. Which is quite confusing since windows latest version is 26.20.12xxxx (are they THAT far behind?)Īfter weeks of testing different things, right now, I used MSI's Live update utility and just downloaded the latest chipset driver from them, which includes the graphics driver. The oldest version they have is 19.7.2 of Adrenalin drivers, which is 26.20.13xxx windows versions. I don't know which one because it's not on AMD's website anymore. The windows driver 8.2 is an older catalyst/crimson driver. I've been going through this for the past two weeks now, trying to find the best driver after using AMD's latest version and hating it.įirst of all, I have an MSI rx580 8gb and a fresh (formatted) install of win10. ![]()
